Fun Day at Solitude

We received lots of snow recently and my friend Dick called and asked me to go skiing with him and his daughter, Mandy and her boyfriend, Josh. It was a great day. Plenty of fresh snow and sunshine. We found several powder runs and skied until our legs gave out.

Tonight Diane and I are going up to Dick's house for a recession dinner. That is, spaghetti, bread, and salad. Diane is concocting one of her famous deserts.

  1. That sounds like a great dinner after a fun snow day. I’m thinking red wine too.

I’m looking out the window as I type, watching big, wet snowflakes fall and accumulate on the ground.

It must have some’um to do with that global warming thing. We’ve not had snow this late in the 17 years we’ve been here.

I received my certification as a Master Recycler from the county. I learned a lot about local trash and such; were it goes, how its handled, and what gets sorted and recycled.
